My Innocent Dreams #35

Here we are at the airport checking in. I swear this is the most annoying thing and i hate this about airports! Checking in your luggage. Anyways i wasn’t excited at all to go back to Dubai since i won’t get to see Sara. But on the other hand i somehow was excited to see my parents and family i’ve missed them so much. We sat at the Emirates lounge waiting for them to announce our flight. I felt alone. I felt blank. I felt nothing. I felt like everything was blocked in front of me. I felt like all doors were closed and the keys were lost. I felt lost .. 

“Are you done with that mister ?” .. Said the lady 

“Excuse me mister..” she said again 

“Ohh i’m sorry what were you saying?” 
“Are you done with that?”
“Yea thank you!”
“Your welcome” 

Man ! When did she come :s ? Anyways i was so into my so called “day dreaming” moment that i didn’t notice that they’ve called us to enter the plane. 

“S3ood yalla bat6eeyr el6yara 3na” Said 3azooz 
“Okay okay yalla a7ein bal7gkoom” 

They both headed to the plane but before entering that plane i had to make a phone call.
I quickly reached for my pocket and took out my phone dialing her number so fast. 

Calling ... 
But to my luck there was no answer. She didn’t pick her phone up. She didn’t answer my call! Which made me get mad. Why won’t she understand that i miss her ?! Oh right she doesn’t know that i do. 
They made their last announcement about the plane closing its doors. I rushed in and took my seat. A message might do ! I thought to myself. I started typing whatever i wanted to tell her in a message. I hesitated if i should press send or not .. 

“What are you waiting for send it” Said 3azooz 
“Hey don’t tell me that u read it” 
“Send it already w fkna” 
“Okay okay”

And with that i pressed send.               
So i my seat was by the window and 3azooz and hind sat in the middle row beside each other. They both seemed so happy. 
I decided to put on the headphones and put my iPod on shuffle. 
I guess i passed away minutes later. I felt like someone was shaking my shoulder. Sara would always do that when she wakes me up after midnight. But this time it wasn’t her but instead it was 3azooz. I frowned at the thought of her.  

“Yalla nsh bagy sa3a w banoo9al el blad”
I let out a long sigh.
“What’s the matter?”
“Nothing”
“Yea obviously there’s nothing wrong.. come on it’s written all over your face”
“Its nothing i’m just tired”

We finally reached Dubai.. We all headed to grab our luggages. So i find a message saying that they have sent me the driver to pick me up. Oh so they didn’t even bother. Actually that’s even better cause i’m seriously not in the mood for anyone at the moment. 
“Are you sure you don’t need a ride?” Asked Hind 
“Yes ,the driver is here anyways” 
“Okay take care”
We said our goodbyes and everyone went in their separate ways.
As i was heading to the exit door. I heard someone calling out my name and to my surprise it was her. She came!! She was holding a bouquet filled with red roses she was walking fast towards me. I couldn’t help it but smile. As soon as I approached her i hugged like there was no tomorrow. All eyes were on us ,but guess what i didn’t care about them ! I didn’t care what people were gonna say. 

“I missed you”  She said 
“I missed you waaaay more!” 

I just hugged her even tighter i didn’t want to let go. 

“Hey did yo u by any chance see our driver?”
She just laughed. 
“What’s so funny?”
“Hahha i will be your driver for the day ;)” 
“Tell me that you’re kidding” 
“Why don’t you want me to drop you?”
“No no thats not what i meant but i mean by mom said that the driver will be here” 
“Oh well he’s not and your family isn’t here they’re at the farm”
“Umm okay so i guess you will have to drop me”
“Hahaha yalla” 
 We walked side by side and our hands not wanting to let go. 
I was so happy. 
Oh and it was around 8 pm so we were chatting non stop till we reached my apartment. 

“Hey how about you stay here for the night?” 
“I’m not sure if that’s a good idea you must be very exhausted” 
“I’m not taking a no for an answer ,i will just have a quick shower and then we can go have dinner perhaps since i’m starving?” 
“Hahahah okay i would love to”

We got out of the car and headed to my apartment. There were flowers all over the place. I excused myself and headed to my room to take a shower i didn’t want her to wait.
